To be able to create a continuous fade in and fade out effect, you need to create three key frames in the time line. It is quite simple. The first and the last frames must have an invisible symbol and the key frame in the middle has a fully visible symbol. First thing to do is open a new file. Change the layer name. And highlight the frame on the layer. Then click on the Flash Text Tool. Next step is to click on the Arrow Tool. Make this text into symbol by clicking Insert and click Convert to Symbol. Name the symbol. Make two key frames. Highlight the Frame1 then click Modify – Instance and change the alpha level in the color effect to 0%. Repeat the process for Frame 30. Then the time line is now set for the additionof motion tweens. You must create motion tweens between frames 1 & 15 and 15 & 30 by right clicking on one of the middle frames and selecting Create Motion Tweens in the menu tab.

Think of the video you are making as a story book. Set the scenes, build the characters, narrate the story, then finish. Remember you can only use the vision you have shot, so keep that in mind when you are dealing with the camera.

Setting the scenario
The best place to begin in any video is with an establishing shot. This is normally a wide shot to give the viewer an idea of where you are and what’s happening. Other examples of shooting shots are on-camera introductions, where a person talks directly to the camera to introduce the video. Or you can use a graphic or title page, like ‘Susie’s birthday’.

Tell the story
Now you can start working with your footage to tell the story. You can put shots wherever you want them, imagination is the only key in making a beautiful video.

This vector-based revolutionary technology replaced Applet in developing websites with multimedia content easily. Graphical information created by Flash are stored as mathematical formulae instead of pixel tables, because information store in vector form consumes less space than pixel values. Flash is used to create animations and other complex content that requires sound and user interactivity. Example of multimedia content are animated cursors, animated buttons, scrolling menus and games – the most popular use of Flash.

Flash are made using the Macromedia Flash software that is developed by the same developer of Dreamweaver, Macromedia. It is proprietary but there is a trial version that you can download from the website of Macromedia.
